EPCOT Resorts Boulevard Bridge Replacements, Orange County, FL

Final design and plans production to replace two bridges on EPCOT Resorts Boulevard to accommodate the required improvements to the L-403 canal. Resort entrance, is a single span, 113'-6" long by 61'-3" wide, 3-lane Florida I-45 girder bridge with a 6' sidewalk. The bridge was constructed in phases to allow for removal and replacement while maintaining two lanes of traffic around EPCOT Resorts Blvd at all times. The east crossing of the L-403 canal, east of the WDW Boardwalk Resort entrance, is a single span, 100'-0" long by 41'-8" wide, 2-lane Florida I-36 girder bridge with a 6' sidewalk. Both bridges were supported on 18" PPC pile bents with rubble riprap slope protection.
