SR 417 Widening from I-Drive to John Young Parkway, Orange County, FL

Final design and preparation of construction drawings and specifications to widen 4.1 miles of SR 417 from International Drive to John Young Parkway. This project adds one general-use lane and one Part Time Shoulder Use (PTSU) lane in each direction. All mainline bridges within the project limits, Hunter's Vista Boulevard, Shingle Creek, Town Loop Boulevard and John Young Parkway, were widened to accommodate proposed improvements. Additional elements include noise walls, modifications to the John Young Parkway toll plaza and milling and resurfacing of all existing pavement within the project limits.

This project was awarded the ACEC-FL 2026 Grand Award.
