SR 408 / Tampa Avenue Operational Improvements, Orlando, FL

Final design and preparation of construction drawings and specifications to modify the Tampa Avenue interchange from a half-diamond to a full-diamond, the reconstruction of Tampa Avenue to a three-lane curb-and-gutter section with wide sidewalks and four-laning SR 408 EB from John Young Parkway to OBT. This project also involves relocating the existing EB exit ramp to OBT and reconstructing it as a braided ramp over Tampa Avenue EB on-ramp and Rio Grande Avenue to tie into Carter Street. This project involves three (3) new bridges and four (4) bridge widenings. Additional elements include noise walls and two new AET gantries.
