Homestead Extension of Florida's Turnpike (HEFT) from NW 106th Street to North of I-75, Miami-Dade County, FL

Final design and preparation of construction drawings and specifications for this $368M project that adds two managed lanes in each direction for seven miles of the HEFT. This project involved four interchanges at NW 106th Street, US 27 (Okeechobee Boulevard), NW 170th Street (DDI), and I-75 (tying of the I 75/HEFT interchange Design-Build improvements to ultimate HEFT typical section); widening three existing twin bridges, replacing two existing twin bridges, three new ramp bridges, two temporary bridge widenings and two temporary bridges; six toll sites and 11 permits and permit modifications. This project involved extensive coordination with 11 major stakeholders including FDOT-6 and MDX.
