SR 20 Widening from SW 56th Avenue to CR 315, Putnam County, FL

TLP, serving as a subconsultant, provided drainage design, post design and environmental permitting for this SR 20 widening project that increased capacity, provided a safer roadway and connected existing widening projects to facilitate east/west movements across the state. The design widens SR 20 from a rural two-lane undivided roadway to an urban four-lane divided roadway from SW 56th Avenue to CR 315 in Interlachen. This project includes the CR 315/SR 20 signalized intersection, a raised median, bike lanes, a five-foot sidewalk on the north side and a 10-foot multi-use asphalt path on the south side of SR 20. Permits were required from ACOE and SJRWMD.
